Welcome!
I consider it a privilege and an honor to represent the people of the 84th IL House District. I was humbled to receive the trust and support of many of you in my initial election and your support in my subsequent re-elections. I appreciate all the faith that you have entrusted in me.
I remain a true public servant and will continue to do my best every day to assist the individuals in our community. I have worked to pass legislation to help struggling Veterans and recently fought to give nurses a safe work environment; I have voted to give more funding to our schools and support the teachers who do the honorable job of educating our youth; I have put people over politics by ensuring voters have the right to choose their board members and not chosen by politicians. I am working for you!!
I continue to pledge not to accept even a "cup of coffee" from a Springfield Lobbyist, I have refused a state funded pension, and did not accept fancy legislator license plates for my car.
I have consistently voted to support services to take care of those who need help. I believe in services that maintain a quality of life for the most vulnerable in our society and I am appalled at these individuals being held hostage to political grandstanding and political ideals. I understand that people in our area cannot travel to Springfield every week to engage in issues that have a direct impact on them, their families and our community. Therefore, I am committed to be the eyes, ears and voice that everyone can rely on to represent them. I will continue to fight for children with autism and epilepsy, domestic violence victims, our Veterans, individuals with disabilities, the frail elderly and the middle class families trying to make ends meet.
If you want to become active in my campaign, please let me know by clicking here. If you can help by making a donation so my campaign can buy supplies and produce mailings that help continue to reach out to voters to keep them informed and engaged. Thank you for your support!
